Ince Park

This joint initiative between Covanta Energy and Peel Environmental will see the country’s biggest Eco Park developed in the North West of England. Ince Park will provide specialist business space for the environmental technology sector in a holistically master-planned development setting. With full multi modal access, Ince Park will be a modern, clean and sustainable park, focused on reprocessing and remanufacturing waste materials.

Covanta’s Energy-from-Waste (EfW) facility has already received planning approval and will be at the heart of the Eco Park, converting municipal and commercial waste which cannot be sensibly recycled into heat and up to 95MW of exportable electricity. This will provide around 16 percent of the North West’s renewable energy targets.
